THE DREAM OF EQUALITY:
WHERE DO WE STAND?
November 2007

This is an article concerning inequality and injustice.  It addresses segregation in education and the substandard housing that our poor and minorities are often forced to endure.  In addition, it looks at the laws that disparately effect those same poor and minorities.

TRAFFIC STOPS &

RACIAL PROFILING

“In the end racial profiling comes to look and behave exactly like racial ignorance and prejudice with a badge, which can lead, among other unpleasantnesses, to death” (from IMDiversity)

This article discusses racial profiling, and its devastating affects on communities and on those persons that are targeted.

These are two of the articles that we have available.  Based on your interest area and requests, we will be happy to research and supply you with information in document form that you can use to promote an idea; oppose a piece of legislation; or add to your own informational materials.

We will be your voice if you need one and will be happy to offer our assistance on your behalf if we can.

Please don't hesitate to contact us about any of our interest areas.  If we cannot help you, or if you need additional assistance, we will put you in contact with the appropriate organization.

Above all do not lose sight of the fact that united we are a strong voice, but divided we most certainly will fail; we will continue to lose our rights; we will continue to suffer from racial profiling and discrimination; and the poor, too, will continue to lose more and more benefits and the ability to keep their homes and their livelihood.
